wrappings

Wrapping is a cathartic process. It allows for a slow progression of thought and gives me ample time to reflect on materials and form. Using foam, fabric, string, yarn and thread, I often create a new form from an old form.

My beads are a continuous string that encapsulate my thoughts - big and small.

spools

Spools are often the foundation of my sculpture. The sizes, colours, and materials of these simple objects help determine how I respond to them.
